  • Client: ICA Property
  • Location: Talavera Road, Macquarie Park, NSW
  • Project Type: Roadworks and Office Complex
  • Duration: 18 months
  • Scope of Work
This project comprised demolition of the former office and industrial buildings, bulk excavation of over 30,000 cubic metres, drainage works, and the construction of foundations, internal roadways and carparks for a large, hi-tech office complex.

The scope of the contract included retaining walls, kerb & gutter and pavement construction to various designs, services works and the construction of a large reinforced-earth type retaining wall up to 5 metres high for the main entry to the complex.

The works were undertaken in a short time period, in conjunction with the installation of numerous and extensive underground services. A large number of other contractors were involved in the building construction works, and extensive co-ordination planning was necessary to maintain the program.
