Hannas Owned Central Business Park Near Completion

10/11/2008 12:00:00 AM

Hannas are nearing completion of a 67,000sqm serviced industrial sub-division at Enfield.

Originally the location of clay extraction for brick making, the Enfield site was acquired by Hannas in 1999. Extensive remediation and reclamation of the site involved the importation and placement of approximately one million cubic metres of fill to bring the extraction area back to its original ground level. Works at this early stage included stabilisation of pit walls, removal of 500 million litres of water from the pit and the construction of new habitats to enhance the survival prospects of the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog colony. This culminated in Hannas being nominated for CCF Case Earth Awards.

Most recently Hannas have been preparing the site for development of an Industrial Subdivision known as Central Business Park. The business park will be made up of 24 industrial lots of varying sizes. With close proximity to the new intermodal port, easy access to all major motorways as well as neighbouring rail infrastructure, Central Business Park is ideally located for an Industrial Development.
